Equalityny.com is the development of my former blogs, outdemocracy.com and progressiveny.com, which began in earnest in early 2004 and centered around GLBT issues and advocacy just as political blogs like Daily Kos were making big news surrounding its coverage of the 2004 presidential election.  Previous to that, many readers were engaged with the series of emails which I sent frequently which contained articles on GLBT politics and progressive policies.

My hope is that it continues to be a source of dialogue and information for New Yorkers and others alike who thrive on GLBT and other progressive issues and who hope to see more progressive policies put  in place in their lifetimes.  I believe that through GLBT and other progressive issues, Americans can come together to put in place the democracy on which this country was founded to provide everyone with the pursuit of happiness and equality afforded us all by our forefathers and foremothers.
